Braves farm system ranks 6th in Keith Law organizational rankings

Recommended Posts

The farm system has been the Atlanta Braves backbone throughout their rebuild and their rise to the top of the NL East standings https://www.atlantapetsshop.com/Jasseel_De_La_Cruz_Dog_Jersey-46. The Braves have chosen to hang on to the majority of their top young talent and to supplement the core with free agent signings. Recent graduations have weakened the system somewhat but there is still quite a bit of talent waiting in the wings at the upper levels. Keith Law released his organizational rankings for all 30 teams at The Athletic Wednesday morning with Atlanta coming in sixth. Law writes that recent promotions and not being allowed to take part in the international market has thinned out the system https://www.atlantapetsshop.com/Custom_Dog_Jersey-24. Still some high end talent remains with Ian Anderson and Cristian Pache. He also mentions Tucker Davidson as a rotation option and calls Shea Langeliers their catcher of the future. The Braves still have some intriguing players at the lower levels, but will need another good draft this year to start to replenish the pipeline. The Tampa Bay Rays topped Law list while the Washington Nationals are at bottom at No. 30.
